A place of my own
« on: January 05 2007, 04:44:15 AM »
Ok, so the house/garage I wanted is now out of the question.

For those of you that dont know, I'm trying to buy some property. I was interested in a place that had a huge garage and lift with an apartment attached but I talked to the owner today and he's fixin' it up to sell at a higher price....175k. Fuck that. Totally not worth it!

Now I'm just looking for a piece of land. I plan to build some type of garage with a lift. This is going to get interesting.

If you wanted to move to florida my father in law is selling 9 acres in Ocala with a full work shop(he is a mechanic) and a nice double wide trailer.  But you probably want to stay in Miss so i cant really help.  Just thought i would through that out there its the only garage with a lift that i know of.

Be glad you don't live in California man. All those chicks you saw aren't worth the price of the land and smog laws.

Yeah my priorities are strange. lol, Four cah garage with attached living quarters. Or maybe the living quarters will be in the garage.

Actually, figuring the cost of the garage/metal building and the slab....I'll probably just get a cheap ass trailor.

Good luck with the property search, I know that can be a pain in the ass especially afta Katrina.  I think it took me and the wife about 2 years to find a place we could afford but it was worth it. :eek:

We have a few Indian casinos up this way. Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods to
name a few. I've heard rumors of more being built as well.

That is the only way the Indians can get the country back one casino at a time.

The talks are moving along. The lady sent me a sample of properties that are available. I talked to her today and she's going to email me a list. As far as housing, I got three good leads, one of them is a camper trailer...if a hurricane comes, I can move my home, lol. The other two are mobile homes. I thought about a real house but 30K in interest (or something like that) is crazy. I dont want to spend 30 years paying for a house.

Unfortunately dude thats reality today. The only way around that is to buy it out right, if you could squeeze Sylvan's account enough for that.  :rofl;
