Front Bumper Fillers
« on: April 25 2021, 11:59:53 AM »
While pulling the engine I first removed the bumper & my still decent looking front bumper fillers pretty much disintegrated when I bumped into them a couple times. So I've been looking at the options from Kirban, Danko, G Body Parts, Rock Auto, Hiway Stars & Mikes Monte's popped up as well. Seems they are all the same with almost the exact the same claims of close to original chemical makeup, last GM molds & no pitting etc. etc. Only Rock Auto are different & sell Goodmark but the rest are all the same & from $120-$140 except of course Kirbans are $160+ so before I order some has anyone made a purchase lately & their thoughts on them? I'm sure that they all need 4-5 hours with a good body shop but I'm not real fussy on them as the car needs a paint job at this point but it's just not in the near future for me so as long as they fit half decent I'm good with them. Thanks

Thanks Steve those look really nice & the Black finish would get me by for now but they're almost 3x the cost of the rest so I'll think about it for a bit & maybe give them a call this week.

they get really good reviews from those that buy them...Should last a long time to amortize the cost

David, I’d give Chris Borson a call at Castle auto , as I’m pretty sure he can get you the Goodmarks ‘ which have been used by many with very high ratings & nothing but good comments .
He can also paint to match .
Easy Peasy- one stop shopping 👍
The best part is he’s local

I pretty sure almost everything that isn't Spoolfool is Goodmark (excluding the danko FG stuff). Buy wherever you like
Chris, Parts Source, direct from LQK in Brampton etc. Goodmark is on Deb's car

Thanks for the info guys I did some business with Chris 6 months ago on my dads car before I sold it so I'll give him a call. Mike from Spoolfool sent me an email & his stuff does look really good but the closest supplier is in Kentucky for shipping. I'd rather go local so I'll see what I can arrange.

David's car has been repainted so Spoolfool might not match anyways and if one has to paint might as well Goodmark.

Dave your right I have Oil base on my car so I could grab a rattle can & get it presentable until the car gets painted one day. I mean I am a painter & I can get any paint put into a rattle can at the store I deal with so that's probably the way I'm going.
