Message board updates

Hello, folks.

I have recruited nocooler to help with the board. He is now an administrator as wel. (Be nice to him  )

I believe he already fixed the picture upload issue.

Other things he will be addressing:
1. Update Simple Machines forum version
2. Get Tapatalk fixed.

First question Jeremy. Why won't these smilies etc work for me? I can't be that stupid. Well...maybe I could.

Second question. What size do I have to resize the pics too?

Pictures should be working, if you have any issues let me know and I’ll see what I can do.
I’ve done quite a bit of research and I’d like to start testing offline soon. I won’t make any changes without Marks approval, and without giving you guys a heads up.

Brad the limit is 4mb per photo and 6mb per post. Typically straight off my phone I do a percentage size reduction 25%. It’s right below we’re you would have specified the size in pixels, it maintains the aspect and reduces the size greatly.

Are you trying to use smiles on your phone keyboard or the ones on the webpage?

Jeremy, I use pixels to resize my pixs. Use to be 680? I use my laptop. I have a flip phone...quit laughing...lol! I'm using whatever Windows gives me as the default browser for Win 10. Prolly some Microsoft browser. Smilies won't work...for whatever reason.

The board will never be perfect - I put it up on a whim when someone complained that there was too many Buick Message boards, I initially registered the domain in 2000, and we're still here. I think it's the best, most intimate Buick board out there, with amazing support, primarily because of you guys. I can't thank you enough.
It also helps that I have had free hosting for 10+years. 

I apologize for letting it slip, I have no real excuse other than my laziness. Thanks to all who stuck around - and we're not going anywhere.
