you would think that if the air is colder coming to the turbo then it would be colder going out.  It might not n=make that drastic of a change but small changes are a start.

I am thinking of modifying the air box to take a 3 inch pipe.  I will try a mock up to show you guys but it may take some time.

Top speed both of the hotair blocks are sold.  I think i will just rebuild the top end of the motor.  New head gaskets(mine are stock from the general) clean and freshin the heads, and go with a 205-210 flat tap cam.  that should suffice for now.  when i get the money i think i will build a motor from scratch the way i want it.

I have a big K&N in the engine compartment by the canister right now.  What i want to do is leave the engine compartment stock appearing but modify the box so that it is a blow through with a K&N filter.  Does this make sense.  Man i wish i had pictures or something i could show you so that this makes since.

Its hard talking to him, not because of the speech impediment
You know who I find it hard to talk to? People with lazy eyes. For some reason I always look at the eye that not looking at me. Not on porpose. I even make myself look at the good eye but I still look at the bad eye. I'm not trying to be funny...I cant help it. I always wonder if they notice that when I look at the bad eye I switch to the good. I feel like an ass. Hate it!

Hey Sylvan, when I look at your bad eye do you think I'm doing it on purpose? :rofl;

I agree i cant talk to people with lazy eyes either.  I want to talk to the bad eye and people get mad.  so i just tell them hey if your going to look at me and it looks like you are looking somewhere else then look somewhere else and look at me.

Thanks for the info.  What i am meaning is that the whole front area of the pipe would be cut out in other words i will have a large area for the motor to pull the air in.  I figured that the area would be large enough to pull more air at one time.  I am not too concernd about the ram air aspect i just figured this my be a new inexpensive way to keep a stock look and get some performance.

ok here is my Idea.  in the front of the car right behind the grill i am thinking of putting a 2 1/2 foot piece of PVC pipe.  I am going to block one end off and seal it.  That is going to run into the modified stock air box with a K&N filter and a soild pipe back to the intake.  The thing about the 2 1/2 pice of pipe in the front is i am going to cut out the whole front section of the pipe.  That should give me a "forced" or "ram " air type of effect, Clear as mud or do i need to explain better?

there have been way too many deaths in wrestling as of late.  I think it kinda sucks but when you add steroids and stress on your body something has got to give.  George was one of my favorites growing up.  I think my fav all time would have to be old school Sting not the crow sting the crazy California Sting.

yeah i know that its expensive but i am talking basic for now what i am thinking about is getting a short block and swapping all of my stuff over to it.  I think that it will work if i can find a deal like Lous deal I would deffinatly jump on it.  I will be looking at about 4,000$ give or take a few hundred.  i just want the car to stay health and drive everyday, but also kick some ass on the weekends.  I know that stock internals will hold to the high 11's pretty safely lots of people have done it.

Cool.  the statistics on the car are 180000+ miles and it runs good for that milage.  I have good oil pressure and all that but my cam is bad and instead of just replacing the cam i figure i can get the whole thing done at one time.

King Kong Bundy was a big dude and so was Killer Kawolski.  Is killer kawolski still alive?  He has been around for a long time like bruno samartino days.
