I went and did it again !

I was in Guitar center today and bought a used
Jackson C5 Concert Bass

24 fret 5 string and its black !
For only 200 smackahs !

It will get GN'ed out ! LOL....

Nice. I needs to build me that Fender Jazzmaster I've been having wet dreams about.

Mahogany semi-hollow body, solid one-piece Rosewood neck, and Seymour Duncan Jazzmaster pickups. I'm getting chub thinking about it.

Think my strings are heavy in the Strats? Wait until I get the flat wounds on!

A friend of mine has a copy of a Hofner violin bass with flatwounds
on it. It almost sounds like a fretless.

I went and bought a Behringer V Bass pro last night to go with it.
This thing is killer for the money !

I know the guitars are probably sub par but I heard decent reviews on them and they will be good for a beater guitar.  I have some extra cash and am thinking about getting one of the Gibson Les Paul copies. I read that they are not mahogany and they are basswood but I figure that is still better then plywood lol.

I went on to the Jackson Charvel forums and found out my 7string is a DX7.
I also met a guy over there from So Cal with the screen name "Racer X".
I thought he was Greg so I started bustin' on him only to find out it wasn't Greg.
He seems like a kewl guy anyways... I also met another guy on there who owns a GN. I tried getting him to come here, but I haven't seen him yet. Anyways...
now I'll get back on topic.  :rofl;
I did some mods and upgrades to my DX7. It now has original Seymour Duncans and a kill switch. ..and some custom stuff on the way ?

Oh shit, I haven't seen seven strings in a while.

I just dug my old '76 Strat out of the closet. I de-fretted it, needs new frets, and it had 3 humbuckers in it and this crazy assed switching system on it from Valley Art Custom Shop. Fucking 80's customizers. I'm going to install a jazz neck humbucker in the neck, and an original EARLY Duncan Invader pickup it the bridge. The middle pickup is going to be the single coil I removed from my friend's Strat YEARS ago, he was shot a few years back and the pickup means a lot to me.

Other than that, I'm stripping the finish to a natural ash finished Strat.
