I like tbs too. I frequent and post a lot over there. There ares some very smart people over there, like Steve wood.

What the hell!!!!!!!!"It's so simple, even a Steve Wood can do it" should be the commercial. Now I have to go kick his ass and then your ass for saying such a thing. I know this is the internet, but let's get a little bit of a reality check inserted here.

Then I'm going to kick Racer X's ass for not realizing that I AM the biggest subject on tbs.com, and just for the fun of it I will kick his ass again.

You people need help, all of you!

Birds of a feather man! We learned it from watching you!

Hell, I re-joined over there a few days ago, but just for the SW section. There are some good guys over there, like Scott and Lee, but I couldn't give less of a shit about drag racing and car shows to tell you the truth.

I'm waiting for Chris Garrett to post over here and feed himself to the dogs. Muahhaaa...

It's boring to me. I have more fun when my GN is turning. I just have more fun on the street I suppose, though I'm not as reckless anymore. I love messing with friends and their drift cars because my holeshot always gets them in the turns. I use my brake like a clutch and keep the boost up going into the turn and then let off when I straighten out. Damn it's fun. I wouldn't suggest doing it in areas where there are telephone poles and cars. LOL You're gonna spin out the first couple times and if you can't think fast you're gonna crush something.

But yeah, watching drag racing gets old quick, at least for me. I have more fun in the pits at Pomona than the flight line.

240's are fun cars man. I still want to drop a 455 and a 5 speed in my El Camino, but California law won't let me. I think I can get around it by using a re-jetted electronic Q-Jet off a truck, so I can get an 800 cfm model. I'll need to somehow get the Buick distributor to fire off an 87 Monte Carlo ECM and that should take care of things.

I also want a Jag IRS for the rear too. What I also love is off road desert racing, dirt bikes, quads, all that shit. I still want to build an all wheel drive S-10 to compete with. But that's a different story.

Modding the distributor shouldn't be all that hard, as long as you have a big cap HEI for the 455 to start with.

I gotta go from the 4 pin to the 7 pin module with no vacuum advance can. I wonder if the shaft length and diameter are the same? Meh, I'll find out eventually.
