A couple co-workers were tlking about guitars they own.

One has a Guild d35 circa 1978. Is it worth anything?

The other has a 12 string Ovation Valador acoustic/electric. He knows it hasnt increastd in value since he owned it.

Any info on these guitars?

Hmmm, I'd look to see what they're fetchin' on ebay.

I believe the Ovation was called a Baladeer or something like that. They
were popular in the 80's. I think Nancy Williams and Ritchie Sambora used to endorse them.

I've been looking for a Guild solid body electric, specifically the S-100 which is an SG ripoff, but actually a far superior instrument. Last one I saw was $800 and it wasn't even pretty. Guild acoustic are just as good, but it all depends on the condition of the instrument. There's one on eBay for $1,100 now.
My 1958 Mamiya can beat up whatever camera you just wasted your money on.
