Is it just me?
« on: December 05 2006, 07:55:35 PM »
Does it bother anyone else that Kirban is signing trunk ID lables? Id lables are important and help the value of the cars. Why is he autographing them? He should know better. Wouldnt it be better for him to make a laminated card and drop it in the glovebox? Maybe get a sticker and hide it under the ashtray? But on the ID lable!?!?

He's not THAT cool put be putting a Sharpie to my car. A hot chick leaving a snail trail is different though. :)
My 1958 Mamiya can beat up whatever camera you just wasted your money on.

I think he's only doing that at the customer's option. There is
a local guy that does some of the car shows that has a trunk
label signed by Molly. Thats a signature that I'd like to have.
I'm also offering a "Recklessrob was here !" signature on a
request basis only.

I
will sign the trunk ID label saying 3 times DSK INC
with the date when the new owner takes delivery..

I hope the buyer will "just say NO!". What happens if Kirbans gets the car back? Will he scribble it out and write "4 times DSK INC"?

Probably. Remember, Dennis is more from the Corvette mentality.

Um, Kirban? WTF makes him a celebrity? He's just another parts vendor, right? Of is he more popular than I was aware?

Okay, cool....for a minute there I felt like I was taking crazy pills. I mean the man no disrespect, but he's not Steve Saleen or Carroll Shelby for Pete's sake.
