Instructions for Be4u..................................
« on: September 28 2006, 12:54:57 PM »
Now that we know his floor pan is OK, its
time to adress another issue. We all know
that Robert doesn't wash his car. Maybe this is
simply due to the simple fact, that he may not
know how. So I decided to take a few pictures
showing him the process of how to wash a GN.

In the first pic I'm spraying water on the car.
No rain doesn't count ! (In case you were going to ask)

In the second pic I'm scrubbing the car with a soapy
sponge. (I pointed at it so you'd know what one looks like.)

At this point you should have a good idea of
how the process works, so I didn't bother to
take more pictures. When done scrubbing, a second rinse
with water does wonders. Of course when its promptly
dried with a chamois to prevent water spotting.
when dry, application of a quality wax is due. I prefer
Zymol, but there are many good ones on the market.
Wipe off with micro fiber towels to a lusterous finish.
...and your car can shine like the on in the last pic.
 :rofl;

Yes, I use the Blue Coral stuff. I have a tech question for you.
On the wideband 02 , where is the best place to mount it? I was going
to put one in my down pipe about a foot from the turbo. I somewhat
remember seeing that there is a certain distance that its supposed to be
mounted at ?

I put mine in my cutout pipe.  Easy to install because you can take the pipe off and in the perfect place for it as well.  I heard the farther away from the turbo the better due to heat.

The directions say 24" from the turbo...angled so it dont collect moisture. I believe they have other setups that you can put closer to the turbo. Mine is about 3" in front of my dump pipe.

Brian, the headers are yours. When do you need them? I need to find a box. I havent forgot about your PP either.
