Project WTF White Trash Fox

It's definitely a Ford. When we went to load it the drivers side rear brake drum was frozen, I spent 30 minutes hitting it with a 3lb hammer before it finally cleared the shoes enough to remove it.
I spent the afternoon vacuuming, washing, and power washing the car and the parts I brought home with it. I ended up pulling the seats and throwing the carpet away.

A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.

It came with a nice fiberglass cowl hood.
The front bumper cover is pretty beat, I might have to source one. I’ve got a list started.
I have the door popper kit for the doors on the car that have shaved handles, but I might just swap it to the other set of doors.

Have the cage certified for 8's. I know what you're capable of.

This is just a budget build. If the boys aren't interested I'll just flip it.
My brother hooked me up with some upper and lower control arms and some subframe connectors (not installed yet).

The car still stinks so I tore the dash out today. Yesterday was the head liner which is destroyed.

5.3/th400,stock computer, 3.08 gears, and should be 2800lbs
This car is unbelievably clean underneath, I’m hoping it’ll run decent enough to flip and make a little $$$ to either start another project or put some more money into the bird.

Judging by what Matt does with a junk yard 5.3 it'll run bottom 10's without even trying. I can't remember what convertors he uses.

The mounts I bought weren't an exact fit but I was able to make them work. I had to cut some material out of the k-member, so I'll have to plate that back in. Now I need to test fit the transmission - I'm thinking it might need to come forward 1/2" but we will see.

Jeremy, is there not a mount kit for that to make life easy, or is it pricey.

The mounts are $300 or you have to go with an aftermarket k-member. These mounts were $55, had I been up on my mustang lingo I would have known they were for a 96 or later kmember.
I tried to fit the trans today and I was right the engine had to come forward, so I had to modify the mounts a bit more. I got it exactly where I wanted it so I guess we will see if this works.
