Crazy Times We Live In...
« on: August 10 2022, 03:08:36 PM »
Crazy how times have changed in the last few years with the supply chain shortage, especially in semi-conductors!

My buddy traded in his 2019 Denali HD 2500 last year for a new one.  The dealership kept calling him a few months ago asking if he wants to sell it, which he replied, no.  A few weeks ago that asked him to trade it in for a brand new one and they will give him $4k.  So, of course he did that.  It is crazy to think he got a new truck and cash.  I believe they wanted to sell the truck in the US and you can't sell a brand new one across the border.  So, he has a new truck with longer warranty now.

A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.

Yep, shopped around to see what dealer would pay me the most to return my Audi at lease end.

Gave it to one 3 hrs from me and got $4200 more than the buyout.

It's real simple...the exchange rate is 30 percent. Dealers throw the used ones on an 18 wheeler they have and take it across the border to the big name auction houses in Michigan.
Hard work pays off, dreams come true. Bad times don't last, but BAD GUYS do!

Nice!

I forgot but my Accountant had the exact 2021 HD Denali but didn't get it till fall.  He sold it for more than he paid for it and ordered a new one.  I had emailed him pictures of my buddy's Denali before he got his.
