Buick owners will go out and spend a gazzillion bucks on cool guy parts...but won't spend a couple of bucks on Powerlogger.
Hard work pays off, dreams come true. Bad times don't last, but BAD GUYS do!

Not being a cool guy, not looking to get this car over stock boost ( its for my kid) and not throwing any cool parts at it, I did too much of that on mine  just trying to sort out some issues. I fought for a few weeks trying to get a scanmaster G and a powerlogger that came with the car to work last summer. The scanmaster works great, powerlogger is older and Eric said it wont ....and computer stuff is my nemisis :013:.

I tried Steves idea of videoing the scanmaster, its a scanmaster G and it must have a LED display so when you video it the display flashes in the video and you cant really read it which is a bummer

Currently no knock at like partial throttle 8 lbs of boost thru shifts, from what I can see at 12 lbs of boost thru shifts the worst I see is .8 retard at 45-50 MPH and I run it up to 80 ish mph.

I think its hearing something at the shift as if its real detonation it should continue to climb or even stay at .8 and recall that number at a higher MPH, its not so that leads me back to it hearing something at the shift.

Steve mentioned getting lean at the shift, watching the scanmaster O2's at the shift theyare in the 770 range so again I dont think thats to lean?

That is fine.  It's feeling the shift thump.  Seems like we have already discussed fuel pressure when you first got the car.

You are nowhere near hg problem territory!

Update on this...... sort of. Determined car has a Transgo shift kit in it and after many calls looks like the shop that did the work set it up very aggressively. Transgo said if i go back to the stock servo it should make it much better. Lucky for me, the local trans shop has the correct used stock part. They can do the work in a few weeks so fingers crossed this does the trick. I have the same Transgo kit in my car and its been great, turns out that the shop in my town actually worked with Transgo developing these.....luck y again!
