Front coil spring
« on: November 22 2020, 10:32:21 AM »
I'm in the process of replacing both upper and lower ball joints, and I was reading you can add an Moog K160044 Coil Spring Insulator to reduce noise since the factory didn't come with one. Is this necessary to add this or don't bother installing the Moog K160044 Coil Spring Insulator?
Thanks

Those are made in China and will self destruct in a few days.  If you must try and find Polyurethane spring isolators.  They will last a lot longer

Thanks for the info, but is it necessary to install them or just leave out since factory didn't install them in the first place?

I never used them in the front and they are not needed. But it's a choice like coffee black or with cream
