I'm surprised that you have to wait to find out. Here in
NH they tell you right away at the registry. All they do is
look it up on the computer To make sure its not already
taken, or on the profane/offensive list.

That is great, I wish all states were like that....here in TN, It takes 2 weeks which is great, in Chicago, it take 6-8 weeks, then another 4 weeks for the plates to arrive.

Here, they can tell you right away, then they'll issue you
a temporary paper plate to use until the metal ones arrive.
It usually takes about 4 weeks for them to show up.

It would be nice to find out right away, the states would prob make more $$$ with plates if it was that easy.  


Now I am thinking of plates for the Excursion..... .in IL I used to have GNRACR1...mayb e TN will be the same.

Well, I got my appoval letter for the plates for the GN....they will read......"Wifes GN".... I guess they did not like the "TSM Girl"....I am still waiting to see if I get my "CRBYBCH" for the Stang....

Well, I just rec my letter for the state.....the Mustang will say "Wifes GT".....I guess I could not get the  CRBYBCH....... .I really wanted that one......I tried Be4u....thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks! That is SOOOO Cool!  But, that is the old lic plate...the new ones are all green like this.......... .in the middle of it, Bryan and I are trying to figure out what the swirly thing is.....he says it is just a design, I think it is a Tornado...lol. .......anyway, thank you that was real cool......I was bummed that i did not get it!  I wonder if I can print that? Is there a way?
