I believe some of you have use Coopers before in stockish sizes?Opinions?Tire prices seem a bit insane for anything else around here.

I ran Cooper Cobras on the GN for years. They're white lettered. Run 'em either way. CT is prolly the cheapest. Nothin' wrong with them. I ran them on all four corners in the 235/60/15 size.

I've run them on my trucks and my son has them on his wagon. I notice they use them on many of the car shows on tv. I think they are fine.

A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.

I like them on my GN. When I replaced my rock hard Radial T/As, there weren't many choices anymore for 15's. Took a little research but I found out that Cobra 295/50's are the same actual width as the BFG 275's. And the tread width is wider so the tire looks better and more squared off.
On thing that surprised me is they are loud as hell when barking 2nd gear in the wet. Sounds like bassett hounds when they come loose in the rain.

I have some Cobra 225/60ZR15. Love the V pattern on the Z rated tires. I have those on the front.

Well, I spent the money on tires, and I bought Coopers.
BUT, I looked at the minimal tread depth of my truck tires and fortuitously caught a clearance sale plus factory rebate at CTC.
Maybe I'm have some coin by the spring for the GN....

Interestingly my conclusion after all this lookin' around- tire are cheaper in Canada generally. I bought many tires from tire kingdom when the fam had the FLA abode, but those days are gone.

Costco in the States usually have cheaper tires. Not as cheap now that our dollar sucks!
