Adjustable upper arms
« on: May 02 2019, 02:29:27 AM »
at what ET will adjustable upper help your 60 foot time?
Car sitting centered on frame, proudly one of the few.
I only make enough HP to go high 11s.
I ask because it’s been 3 mouths since my last new purchase for this car and I need to keep my wife use to my bad habit,I go any longer and she’ll think something wrong.

Invest in a fresh tank of gas.  It would be a waste on the upper arms

I’ve seen some 1.4ish 60 foot times on stock stuff. A good rear sway bar to keep you straight at launch would be my suggestion

I have a Hellwig bar wish I had got the HR bar
But this car goes straight every time. Really my next purchase should Be slicks.
Been running 28X9 Hoosier thinking of MT 28X9 Pro bracket or Et street R

JMO, but I’m pretty happy with the adjustable UMI uppers I run. Installed properly with the right PL on the PS bar, my car not only lost .12 in the 60’, but also centered up the rear more square and I could eliminate the very small spacer I required on one side. Dropped to high 1.50’s 60’ from struggling to run a 1.7 on same tire and set up.

Funny I was just thinking about replacing mine with spherical rod ends to eliminate bind.

An air bag can help you out a bit too.

Is that with slicks or DR's?

Stock uppers, Metco billet lowers, 90/10s up front, QA1 rear single adjustables, ATR rear bar, used 28x9 slicks. 1.5's off the foot brake flashing the convertor to 3950 on a less than stellar track. Suspension tuned by Scoob...of course!
