Just my 2 cents but no way in hell I would let the car go. They will make money on it for sure. I did appraising for a few years and they will sell it back to you for less than you think. Its called bargaining. Remember they want to keep you as a customer. I would have that thing stripped and parted out and $$$$ in my pocket. But I am old and like working on stuff that I have an interest in.  :icon_lol:

If it wasn't for the mess I have at the shop and the legal garbage that is going along with, i would agree. I'm pretty much at the end of my rope.

Cleaning out the car is a sadder day than I expected.

Gary is the kindest, nicest car guy I have ever met. He didn't deserve this in the least.

Hard to believe he let me hang around with him...

Thanks Dave, I always look forward to seeing you and Deb. Out of all this BS, i collected a bunch of good friends. Mentioning friends, the Hershey show is in a couple of weeks, the anniversary of Charlie's death. I'd be jumping on a plane soon to get away if he was still around.

Another solution has come up. I applied for the salvage title today which I won't see for another week. Than I can submit it to the insurance company for payment. Let's put it this way, I welled a bit.

Sorry to hear about your loss. If the insurance companies total it out will you part it out ? Don’t mean to come off as a vulture  :O

Sounds like a bit of money from the insurance to get it back where it was and better!
