Would someone mind explaining the concept behind the aversion to "Cool Guy" parts?

I've been lurking for a while & have seen the term used repeatedly. I think I know what it means, but I'd like some clarification.

With 110 octane fuel.

How much does it cost to fill your tank & how far can you go before you have to return home to your barrel?

Hardly a street car, daily driver, or a touring car.

I can drain the gas tank...put 94 in...swap to the alky chip and be cruising in 20 minutes...and it drives like a stocker.

I went into the 6's with alky...but was seeing hints of KR. Alky is just one more component to go wrong...so I switched to race gas. Alky requires you adjust the turn on point and the volume amount at the top of the track. Most haven't got the patience. Race gas and E85 is damn near detonation proof. The guys in the States where E85 is readily available are swapping over at a phenomenal rate.
