The new style crank sensor needs a different bracket to mount it.

That is what mine looks like. I will continue down the SES troubleshootin
g and the "no start" tree and see where they take me. Summer is almost over

Electrical gremlins Suck the worst! At least head gaskets & such are a pain in the azz but you know the problem. Good luck!

It runs again!!
Pushed it off the street and into the garage and started testing wires and signals.
Turns out the screw holding the cam sensor window came loose. I am not sure why I didn't have any spark but we pinned out the ign module it had 5 volts at the signal wire the whole time we were spinning the engine. I would assume that if it failed and had 0 volts the whole time we spun the engine I would have spark. I used Loctite this time to ensure it stays!! At least it was a simple fix
As for the no SES light. It still doesn't come on when the engine isn't running.
