OTC 4000E
« on: June 20 2017, 11:45:49 PM »
Found one locally on Craigslist for $75.  I already have a Scaaster II.  Would this be worth picking up? Not familiar with the capabilities of this unit so unsure if this would be of any further benefit.  I have had my GN for 20 years and have not needed it! Did I just answer my own question? LOL

It's just a scan tool, they do work on other types of vehicles depending on the cables/licensing - I don't think they record data, only display.

Thanks for the responses.  Kind off what I thought but the price was attractive.

It's fun to hook up some of the old stuff, I grew up with the OTC2000 being my 1st scanner, I still have it.

A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.

 How many terabytes does that hold?

I know of a few TB's that would probably run better if tuned with that.
