On June 30 I will be seeing the Scorpions and Thin Lizzy (front row of course).

as far as in concerned metallicas last album was none more black. after that they cut their hair and went to crap. i gave them one last chance with st anger and i didnt like it. i will never pay for another new metallica album again.

Even back in the '80s when metal ruled my little world, I could never get into them. Bruce Dickinson is a latent homosexual.... did you ever see his children's books? The guitar sound is thin and has a crappy tone and is totally overwhelmed by the bass sound which also has awful tone. Furthermore, I never heard a Maiden song the lyrics of which had ANYTHING to convey. Just my opinion, sorry.

I like Maiden's stuff from the '80s, my favorite being Stranger in a Strange Land.  I could never get into KISS, just alot of overhyped fluff IMO.  I don't have to listen to music to find a message from their lyrics (it's supposed to be entertainment), if you start taking it to serious then you you become one of those people representative of the PMRC.
