PL question on logging fuel pressure

Ok guys I'm trying to get my FP values in check on my powerlogger with my mechanical gauge.


Just wired up my FP transducer and PL shows 40-42 psi at idle........my mechanical shows 44-45 psi, so it's off 3-4 psi.
From what I've read, you can adjust this value in the analog box 4 by entering a correction value.


How does one determine what value to enter? Is analog 4 the correct box for this input?


I'm using a 0.5-4.5V Transducer if that matters. All I did was enter 100psi in the drop down box for analog 4 and that's it. Nowhere did I input any voltage values, which I thought I would need to do. TIA

Is this info to input outlined in a manual somewhere? I'm guessing it is somewhere. Not that I have a powerlogger, but I plan to one of these days and I want to hit the ground running.

Pressure range on this transducer is 0-100psi and 0.5-4.5V


Where are you finding the "custom analog" boxes to input all those values?

Unfortunely not. When I made my dual temp sending probes, it took me quite a while to figure out how to edit the .ini file for them.

You need to ensure that your offset is such that the signal produces a reading of 0psi with the key on, note you will need to disable the fuel pump to prevent pressure in the rail.

And depending upon the accuracy of the transducer and gauge you will see some variance.  In that instance trust your INTs and BLMs for accurate Closed Loop fueling. The only thing you want from the transducer is to see a 1:1 rise and that pressure is holding under boost.

Well I think I have the mechanical and the PL reading almost identical. At least within .1 of each other which is great. 


Anyone know what this "smoothing" is for? I see in the analog input drop down you can select light, med and heavy. Is this to stabilize the graph readings? Man this stuff is a guessing game for an ol computer illiterate fart like me.
