The Map does not use 5 volts from the ecm...it gets a manufactured 5v from the dash. That is the reason I suggest to pick up a 5v reference from the ecm and cut the wire going to the dash.The TPS gets it from C14.The IAT gets it fromC11.The coolant temp sensor gets it from C10.A9 is shown in the wiring diagrams as being 5-6volts....I am assuming that it was not intended as a reference signal, but, if it consistently puts out 5.0, then it should work. I don't believe I mentioned it at all.I would tap into one of the C's.
