Bypass wire
« on: April 02 2017, 08:18:30 PM »
Hello,
I installed a new TR6 and I'm getting a code 42 and a rapid flashing green light on run led while engine is running which indicates an open or short between the D5 ecm harness and pin B on the ignition harness tan/black bypass wire.

Well I cut the wire at the ecm and the ignition harness and ran a new wire and reset the ecm and I am having the same problem. Any ideas

Fwiw I did have this problem once before but it went away after I changed the module and coil

I can tell you from experience that the TR6 specification tolerances are not as forgiving as the stock stuff.  My suggestion would be to get in touch with Bob.  He's really helpful
