GN on Car Squad?
« on: January 27 2017, 04:30:04 PM »
Anyone see this episode on Velocity?  We have a free viewing, watched it last night.  Good to see they got the kid's GN running but they didn't give any specs on the turbo they installed or the converter.  Felt it lacked a lot of technical info but at least they got the car running, apparently it was sitting for 8 years.

Not impressed, another hokey slap together without any decent info. Gotta have a little eye candy in there to keep everyone happy.  :rolleyes;

Looks like they just repainted a Precision TC and slapped it back in.  Oh those yellow brake drums... MMMMmmmm sexy.

I like the show.   They patch up a wide variety of cars/trucks and get them back on the road.  Much more an everyday guy type of show than the high dollar shows that do stuff way beyond the reach of the average guy.

A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.

I really liked the episode where they got that old Porshe running again.  I think that car sat for 40years, it was awesome to see it running again!

I always like watching the blonde girl explain things and then she uses a term that shows that she has no clue...things like we gave to get the transmission put back in, and then they show them stuffing the diff back in............ .....either the script writer is an idiot, or she does not know...probabl y both

I'd teach her all about stuffing a rear end.
