Snow Shoveling
« on: December 09 2016, 08:44:08 PM »
Since we are BSing about snow I thought I would show what nonsense I have to deal with, and why I own a snowblower - but, still pay for someone to plow our driveway.  I just cleared about 1-1.5" of powder off of this whole thing by hand - mostly because I hate myself.

How bad do you have it?

It's 45F outside with a slight breeze. I had to bring my tomato plants inside to keep them from freezing the last two nights.

I hate winter!

Hmmm... I haven't measured it before.  But the garage is 40' long sooo... guessing about 150' long for the driveway by looking at the picture; and it is about as wide as a standard 2 lane road.

I imagine we could do 60' launch testing on it.

I refuse to live in another home with a sloping driveway... been ass over tea-kettle too many times in my life.

Cold front blew through around noon today. It'll be down in the low 40's tonight.  Man I really HATE this cold weather!

Damn you! :icon_lol:   It's -32'C, -39'C with the wind.  Sure wish I bought heated seats for the truck.  It is like sitting on a brick of ice.
