Back from 3 days at the track. Saturday was rained out...but the track dried enuf by 3'oclock to let us test or grudge race till dusk. I decided to dial in the rear suspension. Track wasn't the best with all the rain and the humidity at 83 percent. I decided to leave at 2500 RPM's on the track and go with the best 60. On 23 PSI the car went 7.18 at 100.8 late Saturday afternoon.Fast forward to this morning. The temp had dropped from 64 to 52, with the humidity dropping to 48 and the grains of water to 38. I added 10 points of fuel to low and high gear to compensate. Got the shock setup correct and cracked off a 1.57 launch and went 6.81 at 102.3 on 23 PSI. Low gear fueling was 823 with high gear checking in at 776. Timing remained unchanged from 1 week ago.I came back around...turne d the boost up 1 pound...and went back out and boosted it to the moon. Blew the tires off it immediately with the shift lite coming on almost instantly. I have it set at 6 grand...and if it goes off, I'm outta the throttle. The 7.17 run was in first round eliminations with the boost turned back to 23...and zilch time for spooling. Identical .527 reaction times in race conditions. Maybe I'm not getting too old.
So, no logs then?
