Twin Turbo V6 F150?
« on: July 30 2016, 07:23:40 AM »
I parked the car last nite after my 3rd test run and did some spectating. This F150 rolls up and cracks off a 13.6 at 98. I walked over to the young man who owns it and asked what was in it. He says a 3.5 V6 twin turbo bone stock from the factory. Let's hear some info on this...or was he BSing me.

That will be my next pickup when they depreciate far enough o cam fit it into our budget. Also will have heated and cooled seats. I rode in one and they are very nice.

I guess he owned a Subie once!  Wonder if there is a way to kick it out of 4x4 once launched at wot?  That would give him a few more hp at the line!

Have fun changing the 9ft timing chain when it goes.  My buddy whom owns a GN is a tech at Ford.  He has chained(play on words) out a lot of them!

Timing chain? How hard could it be? I've been deep in a 2004r. Cooling system is what I've read about being a problem.

It's a serious PITA Rich. Did one a while ago and flat rate time is nothing compared to the actual time.
