Keeping the EGR? Nice grinding.
My 1958 Mamiya can beat up whatever camera you just wasted your money on.

I started off with some carbide burs, some stomes, them flap wheels, and
finished with a cross buff. I decided to keep the EGR for emmissions
reasons. It's currently not that strict here, but 29 miles south is Massachusetts,
and they're almost as bad as Kalifornia. Usually when people from Mass move up here they bring the tree hugging mentality with them. So its more of
a precautionary measure.

No pics yet, but very cool paint. Jim saw my S-10 intake. Same idea, but over silver.
Completely invisible until its exposed to the right light. Muh ha ha ha ha !

Hey rob I saw your intake today, looks good. I guess I owe you for the rods huh? I can't believe the rods from my junk motor were no good. I guess the only thing I got to use off that (rebuilt) engine I bought(1500) was the crank (needed grind) and heads. what a rip. that guy better hope I never have to go to lockport Illinois or payback will be a BITCH. Hopefully my rotating assy. will be balanced next week and jerry can get it put together by the end of the month. I hope to put it in the first week in july. what will it take to get you to gimme a hand when im ready to fire it up? I think I can handle most of it by myself but I might need some help to make sure it's primed well enough and starts right up. Jerry gave me the intake gasket but I forgot it at the shop. maybe If your there next week I will try to get down to finally meet you. who knows maybe it will stop raining(ha ha) and I will get to drive my car down there.what's that 20 inches of rain in the past 30 days?????????

I saw Gerry tonight, and he didn't mention that you were there. My rotating assy is next in line after yours. I have a tool especially for the Buick to prime the engine with, I also have the cam sensor alignment tool. Help shouldn't be a problem after 4th of July weekend. I've
been busier than a one armed paper hanger trying to finish a dozen or so projects
for everybody.

Robert, you may remember a few years ago on T6P , Dave had a battle with a guy by the name of "Quicksix" or something like that who had ripped him off by selling him a junk engine, and turbo (that he never recieved)

To add to the confusion. There is more than one Quicksix.
There are a few spelling variations of it. I'd be willing to bet that he's still out there under another screen name.
