I'd find out what Eric uses for his high gear timing default for alky...and use that...and leave it alone. Put the boost to it. 
Hoping you would chime in Brad both my buddies have Eric's ALKY chip they have 21/23 for timing.
I might add an extra degree in low gear on my chip if it's to much for the tires on the street I will save that for the track.
