Where are these Scooby and man boob boards? Are they worth a look?

I bought a pair of tires sat, does that count? I have a "few" extra T wheels and make it a habit not to leave my car anywhere to be worked on. They make it a habit to charge me for disposal so I bring them junk and loose rims to put new tires on. The last time i took rims with tires they wouldn't give me my good tire back claiming it was over ten years old, bla, bla, bla, unsafe bla bla. They did sell me a new Goodyear tire for $30 to go on my trailer I use it as a spare as all my trailer tires on the flat car hauler are may pops. Just my way. They are easy to change so I run em until they pop.

Any who, I dropped my already popped and rims at the service door and dropped the wife off to guard them whip I went to park the car. As you know , mine is a driver and two tires fit so we took it to get tires as the kids had the truck. The counter man starts in with twenty questions, and one being what will these tires be going on. I always think " what's it to ya?" And just said Buick. He asks year and I tell him 1987. Is it a Grand National, I just said yes because explaining about the T and we4 has become tiresome over the years.
He starts telling me about his 67 Impala, and how it is like some show called supernatural, and I think I've seen it before. Any way it is cool to nee a car guy.

My new tires story.

I know a guy that has had a GN in his garage for four years that will not start.

Periodically, he will try to fix it and we go thru all the routines.

For at least two years, I have been telling him that you cannot successfully own a Regal without a voltmeter and a noid light and hope to get it running every time it stops.  He said the dog ate the cables on his meter and no one has a noid light.

This last time he discovered it had no fuel pressure because the pump had stopped working and it turns out the hanger was the problem.

Then it was discovered it would run for a few when gas was poured into the throttlebody.

Back to the cam sensor for the umpteenth and a half time.  Switched the caps, switched the ecm, switched the entire sensor...no run.

Told him to buy a noid light for the three millionth, one hundred thousand, and two times.  No one has one.

Told him that I was mailing him my Casper's Cam Fix and a noid light because he was making me cry.

Suddenly he found a noid light at a parts store.  Wow, that shocked me!

Told him that I would kill him if it blinked when he cranked the car.

It did.  I am packing right now for a road trip.

The car runs if you put some gas in the throttlebody.  Obviously, it has spark.  It also has proper fuel pressure but there is no gas coming thru the injectors even tho' it has injector pulse which should be spraying every time the injectors pulse.  Eventually, it should at least pop, backfire, or something.

Car has sat for years.  The injectors are not working because they are gummed up.  It needs cleaned injectors or new injectors.

I have seen this a number of times and I have seen injectors that were cleaned that would not work after setting on the shelf for six months.  Usually, in that case, they will start working if you "rattle" each one with a an extension and a small hammer.

If the fuel pressure was low, I would suspect that was the problem..in this case, they have 40 psi.  In this case, everything works but the injectors.

It took me three days last week to explain to a guy that and A/F of 10.8 was richer than 11.2.  He keep insisting it was a smaller number so it had to be leaner.   He's not the first guy that cannot separate O2's from A/F.
