On Board Fire Extinguisher
« on: December 13 2015, 07:29:13 AM »
Just thot I'd throw this out there. Every year I see a couple of cars at my track catch fire. By the time the fire crew got there the car was engulfed. I keep a fire extinguisher wedged between the PS seat and the console...it's barely noticeable. We spend a ton of money and gazzilions of man hours on our cars. It's cheap protection. :powersix:

A lot of broken parts does not make you a racer; it makes you a slow learner.

Mine is mounted on the rollbar between the seats - because Buicks leak oil.

It slides in snugly between the passengers seat track and console. Mike's likely came with a special bracket that mounts to the roll bar...with a quick release mechanism.

Every car in a car show, BPG etc has to have one. Would seem silly for track car not to be equipped.
