Hello, attached is a log of two runs. In my opinion the rpms are two high at the end. 6300 rpms
My converter is a pro-torque 9.5 2800 stall.
I'm running 275/50/15s.
My question is do you guys have a recommendation besides changing the converter that can help bring the rpms down.
Champion irons
6262 turbo
170lbs springs
60 lb injectors
Earl brown cover
TT 6.0 chip
Rjc power plate
Just changed to red Armstrong fuel pump.

car that runs that fast should be on 28" tires instead of 26" tires. What's that? About 8%?

Agree with Steve...you should be on a 28" tire. Steve, I'm seeing his IDC at 97%. 60's and alky he shouldn't be anywhere near that.

I left the logs to you because I consider you the log pro these days.
that does seem to be high. I noticed William Avila's were also in that range when he was running about 126 mph. Did not make sense to me, but, his WB AF's were around 11.0-1 and his factory O2's were around 770. Same turbo with single alky. Fuel pressure was correct. Single nozzle alky with no timing retard.
Theo's car was set up by Bison at Bowling Green. I would be curious to know what Brian has to say about it.

I cant see the logs but put some 28x10.50 15 slicks on it and you will see a huge difference.

It's taken a few years, but I have come to the conclusion that the 6262 is the best all around street turbo for a faster car that there is....Brad told me this about five years ago...but it takes me awhile

Ok, I looked at it.
What wb o2 are you running? Looks like AEM to me.
Are you running race gas or alky?
I think the car is too rich. For 24 psi, I think you need to be leaner than 10.4 on the third gear AF. that will pull your IDC's down to something that seems more reasonable.
It's way rich in 1/2..need to lean those down as well

Timing says he's running alky. Battery voltage is 13.3 at WOT. Steve, are you saying that the injectors are flowing too much fuel in regard to AF and 02's...and are maxing the PW and IDC? I'm trying to wrap my head around this.
The 6262 and 6265 are the baddest street turbos on the planet...perio
d. Bison cranked out a 9.9X last year with a stock short block with a 6265...which puts out an extra 30HP all in. With supporting mods and tuning...they can put out some silly HP.
A given engine can only swallow a certain amount of air. Over turboing an engine is a common mistake. Been there...done that.

My guess is he had the convertor unlocked...as the slip percentage came in at 14.1 percent via the Wallace Racing Calculator. I'll go back and check his PL log. I'm betting it won't show it locking. Pro Torques to my knowledge are LU's.
I don't see an appreciable RPM drop in high gear...and he either spun the tires on the 2-3 shift...or the trans is slipping.
I brought up the gauge console. The MPH and RPM are beside each other. On the 2-3 shift you can see the RPM's jump up...but the MPH increases at the same rate. I would think if the tires broke loose on the 2-3 shift you'd see the MPH jump up and then come back down...but that isn't the case. Log looks the same when I smoked high gear a year ago.

No, he had the AF for 3/4 programmed for 10.4-1. I think that it should be 10.8 or 10.9 for 24 psi when he is done tuning. That will drop the idc some.
With 28" tires he will be around 5700 at the line and maybe less if slipping

Hi fellas, the wideband is a Plx.
I run alky.
We didn't have a chance to tune because of the bent exhaust valve.
We just put a bunch of fuel in it initially for safety because we did all of the upgrades in the hotel parking lot.
Heads, cam, timing chain, turbo etc.
I'm pretty sure I bent the valve in the burn out box on the attempted 3rd pass.
We locked the converter for the 3rd pass but I don't have a log of that pass.
I asked Bison to chime in an maybe answer some of the questions you guys may have.
