Nice shot!  What did you run?  And what drag radials were you using?

Awesome pic!  Wait till the first time you pic up the front tires on a launch.  That's fun and scary

Cool pic. Slicks are the only way to fly. Were you able to record some data?

Not much zero knock and AFR was a little fat
To be honest I was too busy grinning to pay attention.

I record every run. When the two cars ahead of me roll into the water box I fire my car up and have the GAUGE PANEL up on PL. I hit MONITOR. I can see the gauges moving so I know PL is working. When the starter waves me in in I hit RECORD. At the end of the run I turn the corner at the top of the track and stop and save the file. I go back to the trailer and go over it.

I wish I had a mount for my laptop it would be nice to have so would a track!
This is at our local airport and we only have 1 race weekend  :(  with 2 test and tunes.
The closest track is on the main land 4 hours each way with $300.00 in Ferries in the middle.
We do have a short 350' track a couple hours away and I do go to it on occasion.
Its kind of hocky its typically used as an oval for stock cars they have extended the straight away with a hard right at the end plus the left lane is against the wall........

Larry...just set the laptop on the passenger seat facing you.

And put painters tape on the rear quarters to protect that pretty paint job. :)

I spray cooking oil on the rear quarters. :)

Isn't that like playing a hockey game without keeping score?

No times until the 8th I will defiantly post them up whe I get them
I'm really looking forward to this year.
The tech guys gave me a rough time about leaving my scan tool on the seat a couple years ago I was adjusting my chip in the staging lanes figured they would do the same with the laptop.

Looks like an add a bit of boost to the launch the TR6 2step is pulling 10 degrees of timing and set at 2900 rpm
I will try to launch at 3100 rpm on race day looks like there is a delay in the TR6 adding the timing back in. I will be adding a couple pounds of boost and a little timing over all too.

Larry...what did the convertor 'flash' to on the line? What were the RPM drops at the shift points?
