The converter is too tight but I don't have the time and budget to have it loosened before the races
It's up against the conveter pretty hard if I don't pull the timing with the 2 step it will push the car thru the beams at 2900 rpm.
It shifts at about 5600 and drops to about 4800.
The TR6 module gives me the ability to work around the converter with the 2 step pulling timing and limiting launch rpm.
Wait for both cars to Stage mash the brake and the gas and let it go when you see the last yellow light.
What it flashed to I'm not sure I was watching the boost gauge to see where it was at.

I pull a whack of low gear fuel and add low gear timing to get it to spool real quick. On PL you can watch the RPM's and MPH simultaneously ...and you can 'see' what the convertor flashes to at launch. 2 weeks ago I'd spool it to 2,000 RPM...and it was 'flashing' to 2,900 RPM.

You're getting a good RPM drop. :)

P.S. I leave Erics high gear timing on his default setting. I never touch it. :)

Larry...just set the laptop on the passenger seat facing you.

And put painters tape on the rear quarters to protect that pretty paint job. :)

I spray cooking oil on the rear quarters. :)
That's exactly what I do minus the cooking oil.  I save the cooking oil spray for when we go 4 wheeling.  Makes spraying the mud off a bit easier

I'm running a gen2 translator and extender chip I have to pick my timing default is 17-15
I have it set at 21-19 with my alky tune this is conservative I know but I have bumped the compression a little and it seems to like it
I moved my WB and knock gauge to the pillar so I can now see boost and o2s at the same time it could be fat on the launch too alky starts spraying at 5 psi and I was leaving at 8psi
5psi turn on works good on the street to eliminate transitional knock it could be to soon at the track

I had my alky coming on at 12-13 PSI. I'd run the 02's in low/high gear in the 750's...and add 4-6 degrees low gear timing over Erics default setting. High gear timing I left alone.

I'm with you Larry, for what tires cost, they can do double duty.
