Larry, you do realize that most of the guys that own these things now are grandpas, right?

Nice! Really like the WH1 paint scheme. There was an 86 with T-Tops and a maroon gut that used to roam our area in the late eighties. Probably in a garage somewhere in the area too.

I had dreams of doing mine in a blue/grey WH1 scheme... instead I settled on resale black... and how's that working out for me?

Larry...get him to wet sand it with the 3M stuff. He`ll likely have to go to a auto paint place to get it. I did my Impala SS with the stuff at Dans shop when I bought it a few years back. The car had spent its life in Toronto and the paint was horribly oxidized. The 3M stuff brought it up damn near brand new. If it ever stops raining I`ll post a couple of pics.

We have a painter in our group the worst seems to be the roof. Cody thinks he can buff it out the single stage lacquer is so thin Chris really wants to save the factory paint.

Been a fun project to be part of, Chris has a beautiful 87 GN we call princess he had a built motor and trans done for it and had the stock engine and trans sitting in his garage,
He sent the trans to a local builder that we use and had the crank polished installed a new bearings and a 206/206 flat tappet cam. The turbo is a 58 he had rebuilt plus a stock exhaust housing machined to fit 42lb injectors and an SMC alky kit. We have a small Buick club half a dozen guys and we all kicked in parts we had kicking around to get the old girl rolling. I had a 9/11 converter that was a little tight for my car it stalls around 2600 rpm plus a had a couple sets of stock headers, Ryan had odds and ends to contribute fuel lines power steering lines crossover engine compartment wiring harness. Biggest delay was the tranny our builder is good but typically he is busy prostock guys get him to build metric 200s and he is always in demand.
