I found this interesting. An interview with Big Chiefhttp://speedsociety.com/nhra-banned-people-participated-street-outlaws/Just seems the ihra will be able to pick up some new affiliate tracks.
There was a couple I liked where they'd go out and find cars, have a limited budget for a resto and that was it. I used to like the Gas Monkey show but wow...it went way over the top.
I dunno. I get that even if it's scripted, they still don't want guilt by association. Personally, don't have a problem with people that go out to abandoned airstrips, industrial parks, or what not where they're not a menace to the general public.
I love street racing... in it's purest form. You're crusing around, someone breaks bad and you mop the floor with their ass....Spending hours/days/weeks running off at the dick sucker using phrases like ''I'll drag you'', etc... makes me want to puke.There's a difference between racing and bench racing.And posturing is worse than both of them combined.
