Those stockers were tired in 1987

Especially after it sat for a decade with a blown hg.

Guys...if you ever overboost an engine to the point of spitting the head gaskets out of it...swap in a new set of springs while the heads are off. If you don't...then I promise you your car will fall on its face in high gear...and prolly against your biggest rival in a grudge race. Don't make the same mistake I did. I ended up having to wait 2 years to get up against this guy again to redeem myself.

That Brad is reason enough to swap the springs. Who cares about the head gasket.
