Rotating Assembly Balance Question

I always have the rotating assemblies balanced in my engines...cuz they rev out as smooth a silk. Is there a distinct HP/performance advantage to this...and if so...why?

Eeyup.
It works for the same reason balanced airflow to each cylinder does.
It's the old synergy and a rock under the rim of the Frisbee analogy.

Are there not many pieces to this balance thing? Aren't 3.8's balanced differently - not 50/50? If only we knew a machinist ( cough Radius) who knew these things?

You're confusing the balance specification with the need to balance or not,if I read this right?

You're confusing the balance specification with the need to balance or not,if I read this right?
