I got the gn out again today. I think that makes 3 times so far this year
anyways... I drove it to work this morning, went for a ride inbetween a 3 hour break. It was nice to go for a nice little ride all by my lonesome.
My power antenna is broke. The teflon thingy that pushes the mast up and down is probably busted. I have a new one. I'll fix it this winter.
so no tunes, and I didn't have any cd's with me. So basically just listened to the car the whole time. Which I think is a good thing to do occasionally.
Nice and quiet, except for the rear-end noise I never had until I installed the energy poly body bushings.
Its not really noticeable if the windows are down, or the radio is on. But the more I drove today, the more it aggrivated me.
Its kind-of like a "rolling" noise from the rear. doesn't sound wrong. It just sounds like a noise I'd expect to hear from a caged tubbed out car with its carpet removed... rolling down the road, but kinda quieter.
So I think I'm going to go back to regular'ol rubber bushings this winter.
I love the way the car handles though, and i've never experianced the rattles and such that some have reported.
Just one of those things, I guess.
By adding the #5 bushing that wasn't there before I installed it with the energy poly kit.... I'm wondering how much effect that is adding with noise transfer?
Oh well. With my car being as clean as it is, its a pretty easy job changing the body bushings. The most aggrivating part is removing the front and rear bumpers.
I don't have a point or a question here.
just kinda talking out loud. I hope everybody's doing good.
I haven't been posting much lately
I didn't make bowling green this year. Wish I coulda made it.
anybody that was there have anything worthwhile mentioning?
