I'm assuming you're referring to the front shocks not being able to extend far enuf on launch...and therefore not transferring enuf weight to the rear tires to plant them harder.

Rear shocks - they only have 1.25" of extension from ride height - not enough time to control the hit. So they top out and unload

It hits the tires and tries to drive them into the ground. But there is only 1.25" of shock travel downward. The shock hits full extension, bounces and then unloads the tires.

I haven't been able to play with it as much as I'd like. I had a reaction to a pain med (lyrica) that put me in a very depressed state. I had to take a couple months off to get myself back on track. I'm about out of options for pain management. Just narcotics and medical marijuana.


Car had a 4l80e in it last year with a ptc 10" converter. It trapped lower and wasn't fun. And 4l80's aren't as strong as everyone on the internet claims. No way do they live with the transgo hd2 kit above 500hp. Mine melted the 3rd gear clutch pack and I decided to go back to a stick since it's more fun.

I should mention this is pretty much a full weight car with A/C. Just the back seat removed, since it's not usable with the roll bar anyways.


If I had to guess it's probably 36xx with me in it.


There is weight reduction planned but they are wallet mods, with a 2.5 year old son and another on the way I try to be a little more tight with my money.

Sorry to hear that you are still having that kinda pain.  This has been a long, rough haul.

That sounds like the shock cannot compress enough to me

Yes it has Steve - it sucks but it's better than the alternative.

If I loosen the compression it just bounces the tire worse.

The suspension isn't working like it should - we'll see if I'm right in a week or so. Even with the extension full tight it can't slow the tire down enough to hook from a full on dump. Giving it a couple more inches of extension should help the shock. These shocks are too short imo unless the car is lowered. The other shocks on the market, strange, afco, viking have more travel. It's stupid to have like 11" of compression travel and just over an inch of extension travel.

Chromebooks run ChromeOS - it's not android but a close.

The a particular chromebook I bought has a haswell celeron (x86) cpu not an ARM cpu like cell phones.

Reinstall chromeos - enable developer mode - enable legacy boot - reboot and install ubuntu

Linux has doesn't use a lot of ram so the 2gb is more than enough. After ubuntu was installed I installed vmware player and then created a XP virtual machine and pass thru the usb hptuners device to the virtual machine.

This little laptop is pretty amazing. 6 hours + of battery life and weights/cost nothing. I drop it who cares right.

Ubuntu needs some drivers injected in the kernel for the touchpad and sound but other than that everything is straight forward.

Hell this thing even runs games on linux pretty well. I've tested CS:GO (40fps) and Xcom:Enemy Unknown on it and they were both playable.
