It’ll be worth it and you’ll love it in the end. Sounds like you’re doing it right once! Good luck.

My wife got me a pretty nice set of Milwaukee m18 powertools for Christmas.
The 1/2 impact makes all the other impacts I've had a joke, even my air. I'm excited to play with them!

The impact is almost too good. I was playing with it and I snugged up a lug nut with it. I figured I’d check it with the torque wrench. Yeah the lug was tighter than 150ft/lbs and I had to use the impact to remove it.
this thing will probably break a ls crank bolt loose. I normally have to use a 6ft cheater on my breaker bar to knock them loose.

It pays to have good credit and shop around when you are looking for loans. We ended up at a local credit union. They got us into a 2nd mortgage @ 1.99% over 12 years. We were able to pull out enough equity to pay the 1st mortgage off and cover our project. All they required was an appraisal ($350) and an $89 document fee. We close on Tuesday!
I met with the builder this week and he put in the order for materials. I applied for the building permits Wednesday - I'll call and check on it next week. I still need to wrangle up the fencing company and someone to finish the fill dirt/grading.

So HPTuners conveniently sent out a firmware update to kill the mpvi 1 cable and is forcing everyone to the new mpvi 2. Of course, I figured this out after I plugged in my cable in and it nuked it. It's $289 for the mpvi 2 or someone has figured out how to roll the firmware back but wants $150 to do it.
I guess I'm not going to piggyback the holley with the stock ecm anymore so the factory dash won't work, I guess I'm buying a Holley dash.

I either figured out the $150 secret or had good luck, but I was able to revert the firmware and it's working again.

That keeps some money in your pocket for a little while!
Some of these new dashes are beginning to look really nice to me.

Someone hacked the software and it basically allowed unlimited credits. The new cable calls home and requires an internet connection for licensing. The bug is on the cable end and they couldn't fix it.

Hopefully, it will hold up and let the concrete cure good. I think some of this new concrete is made for cold weather use.
We had thunder this month so the old saying says it will freeze in April!

Concrete won't be poured yet - just starting the building. Grade still needs to be fixed but the builder can work around it.
