Had a nerve block on Wednesday - forgot how nasty that procedure is....nothing like a big old needle between the ribs, fishing around for the nerve and then zapping it with RF.

BMR is running a sale on Viking shocks - price is way less than anyone else - hopefully I can get back to work and make some $$$$ and order them

Yes the yellow car was a peg-leg most of the time I owned it - then I put a posi in it toward the end.

Paul, Jeremys car ended up here in Canada. The twin fan setup and the diff girdle are on my car...and the glass hood is on Norbs' car collecting dust. The last time I saw Jeremys car it was in Port Perry. I believe it was a T Type...but Jeremy can confirm.

Did a young guy North of you own it?  If so then I think that car is now down Leamington way with a 4.1 in it and now painted white.

Hopefully someone cut out the roll bar and re-did it. I was young and dumb when I installed it.

 I've had 2 surgeries @ U of M this year for my burn scars, next week the doc and I will decide if we need to do more or wait a couple more months. The last one I actually woke up feeling better than I did before they put me under. So things are moving in the right direction. My right arm looks like a shark took a bite out of it, but I have full range of motion again and less pain.
 
 I also some how managed to tear my meniscus in my left knee. I've been treated so well at U of M that I'll be going down there to see a specialist.
 
 Still off work and don't know when I'll be able to go back....so no money for new slicks and even if I did I couldn't kick the clutch.
 
 On the positive side - our 2nd son is 2 months old and doing well.

Jeremy, I am glad to hear that the surgery appears to have helped the burn scars.  This has been a long ordeal for you and anything that reduces the pain has to be a major improvement.

Glad to hear that boy is growing and doing well!!

Took my 3 year old to the track last week and he had a blast.


I made some runs in the passat - it went 15.3@92. Not bad for a 4 door beater that gets 35mpg and fits the family pretty well. If it had something better than the 600 treadwear tires it'd go quicker. 2.4 60' 


U of M said my knee looks good and the cyst is my issue - which they'll take care of in an office visit.


Got some good news from short-term disability insurance (coverage from work) - they finally agree after 6 months that I'm not able to work, and they are going provide benefits.


Might be able to get some slicks for the firebird after all.

It's amazing how well some of the newer "grocery getters" run compared to the muscle cars of the '60's.

The boost is all over the place with the ecm controlling it. I see 18psi down low and it starts bleeding down to 10psi before the shift. I'm debating if I should put a diode inline with the map so it only see's 4.3 volts and then raise the boost to 18-19psi all the time. The MAF will fuel it and it has a wb02 on it from the factory. The 205 series tires spin enough as it is though. It needs alky on it too - so I don't have to decarbon the valves - maybe run a line from the windshield washer tank! I need to do some basic maintenance stuff to it - typical VW stuff.


My brother shit the 1st time he rode in it - it's just a 2.0T in a midsize car.


Not my 1st choice but I walked away with a few dollars in it and no payment - it's no ecoboost truck but it's a interesting daily.
