Im seriously considering this- http://www.hybrid-power.com/_p/prd1/2896339861/product/new-hdi-electronic-boost-controller-ebc-r-evo cheap electronic closed loop controller. I've seen lots of positive reviews. I was going to use a mac valve with a compressor regulator but this should fit the bill @140 usd

Too bad you cannot set a curve to aid with spool.

Yeah I'd like full control like an eboost2, ams500, boost leash, but this will be a start. I doubt it's going to have very much lag.

found that one for $169 on ebay - I might go that route instead. I like the overboost protection and the ability wet the start boost aiding in spool up...

I'll try to make a video in the couple days. I've been making some decent progress on the little stuff. Other than a belt, oil, power steering fluid, brake fluid, and coolant - I should have everything I need, ordered and on the way.

I'm have I feeling I need to check out the rocker trunion bearings, and replace them with a bushing style.

Exhaust is going to be a pain in the ass. I'll need to borrow dads welder, as mine is pretty much worthless. I ended up with a mess on IAT sensor bung, so it got ground and epoxied.

I was going to go cheap china crap to save some of the budget, then decided they all looked like crap and I wanted a nice gauge.

I thought I had the bumper cover fitting, but I spent some time today tweaking it. While it fits nice the v-band for the box is very close. I'm going to play with the piping a little and see if I can gain some clearance, or need to keep going at the bumper cover. I need to test the new gear I put in the headlamp gearbox - plastic gear on metal, wtf was GM thinking? Ah well its got an aluminum gear in it now. Of course I only did the drivers side so, the passenger one will probably fail now.

And yes, I was making 2-step noises, and some turbo noises yesterday.

Nose is on.

Have some wiring, fuel pump/lines, boost controller/gauge, vacuum lines, new plugs, find a belt, and then I should be close to flashing a 2bar tune to this thing and lighting it off.
