We have a '17 AWD that replaced the Rendezvous. It was largely a price and dealer decision but we enjoy driving it.
We had to go one trim level up from base to get the backup warning (vs just cam)that the previous CXL had. She likes the car finder and gas gauge on the phone.
I do hope the 18yrs of longevity I got out of the last F150 pickup holds true now that all our eggs are in the ecoboost basket. They both fly  :D :D

Going to buy an aluminum 5.3 aka L33. $250 - the guy says it had metal in the oil and 20psi of oil pressure. Typical issues for these engines with cylinder deactivation. Probably ate a lifter. The heads are worth the price alone - 799 casting. Always need spare parts.

Wife and I are still up in the air about a new vehicle for me. if I could only find a base raptor....

busy day - I also got the nose cap off the car too. Hopefully I'll be able to shove the intercooler in tomorrow.

Thanks Brad luckily enough of these kits have been installed and proven. Following build threads over the last few years helps, I've been able to see what works, what doesn't.

I spent some time this afternoon removing and replacing most of the dried out tape on the harness. Got everything plugged in and then noticed the injector clips on the table. Luckily I was able to get them installed with the wiring all plugged in and with the intake in the car.

Tomorrow I'm going to layout the fuel system so I can get lines ordered. I need to decide on what boost gauge and air filter I'm going to go with.

Mine has the boost and vacuum. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone? Just throwing that out there.

If you can float it: https://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/avm-30-4350/overview/

It is cheaper on Amazon.com

I am not running gauges in the Monte - just a small tablet connected to either the HP Tuners or and OBD II dongle/app.  No sense in spending extra money these days (says the guy who spent a grand on his SpeedHut gauges... LOL).

I bought one of those dongle things off eBay for like five bucks shipped. It works good on the Roadmaster with a little tablet.
