I think I'm going to start with the t-56. I mean it's got all the good parts in it, and a badass clutch setup. Might as well have some fun with it. The other reason was: the wife would probably kill me if I went back to an auto at this point. More or less she is on board with a turbo!

I'm wanting 135mph or so and I think thats a reasonable goal and many ways to get there. I could spray it a little harder, but as fun as nitrous is - it is a major pain in the ass.

Sell me the T56 and use that money to go bigger: http://shop.huronspeedproducts.com/Turbo-Kits_c6.htm

No A/C in the car? Odd.

I would definitely go with a 4L80E if I had my way.  This is about the best deal out there: http://www.bmracing.com/products/118002-bm-street-and-strip-automatic-transmission-1997-and-up-gm-with-4l80e-transmission/  I believe you can get it down around $2100 (and there is no core charge).

Yeah there is a/c in it Mike. And that's the only reason it hasn't had a kit on it already.

80e not a bad way to go, been there done that. They are heavy mofo's.

I like the A/C kits but then it snowballs, you need k-member - then why not lower control arms and on and on.

The A/C belt has been off the car for 2 years, since the tensioner is shot and it hasn't been on my short lists of fixes, but neither have the NB o2's lol!

Waiting on a few other things to resolve before I start spending.

Everything always snowballs - the question is: just how big and out of control do you allow it?

I remember selling my Buick and telling Steve that I just wanted a nice car to cruise in with my wife...that lasted about 2 weeks.

She has yet to drive the car or ride in it since I put the faceplated trans in it

First mod of the year! Need to charge the battery, calibrate the wbo2, and flash a 1bar speed density operating system to the pcm. I'm excited to play with the real time tuning feature.

Jeremy, I'm tiring real quick of recalibrating these fukn WB02 sensors.

I'm running this with 93 and alky and no calibration required. Not sure how it will hold up on race gas.

Jason...you mite be right about the race gas. It eats away certain metal at an alarming rate. The exhaust housing on my turbo is a mess...and I'm certain it ate away the puck assembly last year. Caustic shit...to be sure.

Brad - To be honest mine rarely needs calibrated. I check it every so often. I've ran pump, e85, race gas - and this sensor is 7 years old. Do you have the NTK or Bosch sensor?

Jason - those are good wbo2s too but in my experience the 5v out isn't as stable as the NGK and it has the bosch sensor.
