Mother trucker - it's the front pump seal. There is a ledge above the pan rail that fills up and then splashes over. I put my pick in there and found a nice puddle up there.

After running 9s I don't mind wading through some shit. That sweet taste of victory makes the mundane not suck as bad. Had it not performed so well my outlook probably wouldn't be the same.

Figures I'd get this Envoy Denali XL back together and it has an exhaust leak. I wanted to fix it but my brother just wants to drive it at this point and see how it does. Pretty sure the manifold on the passenger side probably needs surfaced. The cam we stuck in it was real close to the ls6/ls2 cam so I had him copy a TBSS fuel/timing maps and it runs really good.

My wife and I went to a concert last Friday - and it was amazing. Auburn Michigan - population sub-2000 people, and there were 10000 people in the park for the concert. The first picture is behind us, and then a shot to show where we were located. I was really apprehensive about being in a crowd, as I really don't need drunk assholes running into me - but everyone was respectful and cool.
It was Chase Matthew, Struggle Jennings, and Jelly Roll. They had to pull the plug on Jelly at midnight, an hour past curfew.

Noice!  I haven't been to an outdoor concert in a long time.

I helped a good friend yesterday work on his wife’s 2015 equinox. I changed both cam vvt solenoids, front crank seal, and replaced the serpentine belt. Took nearly an hour, and $150 worth of parts - dealer estimate was $1000!!!!!

The dealer would probably have to pay for a technician to come in from the district office to do the work...

Trans is out and it looks like it was one of the pump/bell housing bolts leaking. Looks like they used a thread locker not a sealant like the directions show. I really don’t want to pull the pump but I know this mother f’er will leak if I dont

It's back together. It needs a few more quarts of trans fluid and I'm hoping it's done leaking.
I was surprised to see that the transmission did have some really nice-looking pieces of hardware inside when I pulled the pump out.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'm the first person to mess with this leak. One of the lower pump holes needs the threads repaired, so I've got to pull the pump and see what my options are. I don't know if there is enough meat to properly Helicoil it. I've heard some use aviation sealer others use Devcon aluminum epoxy as it's strong enough to be drilled/tapped, and I've seen others weld it up and re-tap.
I've got to get it apart and get a game plan.

from what I read, most epoxy fixes will not hold any torque beyond lightly snug.

Yeah, I'm not sure about using epoxy either Steve. The devcon aluminum is supposed to be a whole other animal, but it's $100 a pound. I'm going to look at helicoil and timesert options.
