I went to the SoS to get the title transferred/plates this afternoon. Some dumbass mofo told a State employee he was going to shoot her if he had to go get his birth certificate. Thankfully he wasn't armed. He was disabled/wheelchair-bound but I thought it was going to get real for a second.
Of course, they went into lock down and I had to hang around and give a statement so my 20-minute trip took 2 hours.

After a couple of loads of dirt, I decided to try out Harbor Freights 2000lb cargo unloader - https://www.harborfreight.com/2000-lb-capacity-truck-bed-cargo-unloader-60800.html
The topper had to come off and I was worried it was all that was holding the bedsides up, but surprisingly they don't flop in the wind. The unloader was $50 well spent. 2 minutes to unload a bed full of dirt - it is way easier than trying to rake/shovel it back out.
I got bored today and installed some fbody ls1 cooling fans in place of the stock clutch fan, controlled by the factory PCM of course. All stuff I had laying around.

Brad, I'm not 100% sure what they use - but it does a number on metal.

They changed to liquid maybe ten years ago up here. We've got Krown Rust Control and Rust Check up here. Sprayed annually for about 100 bucks. The shit works.

This showed up today. Weldpro MIG155GSV. I tested out some flux-core just to make sure it sticks metal together. 1st attempt was a fail, too much heat, and the batteries were dead in my helmet. Not only did I burn a hole in the plate I was welding but I got little flash exposure.
Once I got the helmet working and dialed the heat/speed in on it welded really nicely. I can't wait to get a bottle of gas and some mig wire and see what I can mess up.

That’s on gate without any magic in the tune up at all. I need to start adding duty cycle to the wastegate there’s any easy 150-200hp in just adding boost. I’m just being a Nancy, I know it’s gonna be a handful.

Picked this up today
2017 American Black Widow
Full suspension, rack-n-pinion steering, hydraulic brakes (well after I fix them), torque converter, live axle, new tires.
It has a 135cc LTC CCMX  - https://lctusa.com/product/cmxx-136/ my understanding is it's more of a Mitsu clone than a Honda clone. It's underpowered I think it's rated at 4hp. It'll run it's rated 24mph but it just feels dead, pretty sure the belt is burnt. I'm gonna put a new belt on it, fix the brakes and see how it does. It definitely isn't as fun as the other kart but it's a lot safer to turn the kids loose in.
