Concrete is sealed. Everything turned out nice. Inside the barn the floor is still cloudy/spotted looks like over application. It may clear up and it may not, I'm over it - time to get to work!

Nice shop. Once you have a few oil or tranny fluid spills you wont care anymore

I'm sure that will come with time!
I need to get the firebird somewhat sorted out before I start messing with another car.

It's pretty bad when the unbranded oil drain can shows up branded "red sun" - I had to slap some stickers on it and cover that crap up!

New IAC is in - the old one had 2 issues, the motor broke free from the flange allowing it to spin 360*, and it was missing the o-ring! I guess that'd explain the whistle at idle. It's raining and humid here today so I'm not going to test until tomorrow, I don't need to fog out the barn, when I can wait a day or two. The e85 smells fine it's the old pump gas in the tank that makes the exhaust smell nasty!

The $7 IAC surprised me, it actually works. I was worried when the part was shipped in a padded envelope and packaged in a plastic bag. I spent about an hour dialing in the fuel table this morning. A couple of trips around the subdivision and it's finally close enough that it doesn't cough when you roll into boost. So I hit the man road and rolled into some boost! Holy sheep shit this thing is already starting to come around. It did its normal standing up and starting to move around so it was starting to make some power. Boost comes on quick and held 7psi on a short rip. When the wastegate opens it sounds a little rowdy - so I decided to put it away before I got myself in any trouble.

This showed up today! 10 minutes later my Dad stopped by, so he got roped into helping me assemble this thing.
Made in Kalamazoo Michigan. It's 12 gauge powder-coated steel, and they packed it like they actually care about their product! It's 6ft wide and 36" deep with some height adjustment.

Did my first oil change yesterday!
I was able to yank the 5.3 out of the junk truck this afternoon. Everything went smooth until I hooked up the chain and cherry picker, then that bitch fought me for all it was worth but I won.

Drained the fuel out today - about 20 gallons worth. Milwaukee M18 batteries run fuel pumps pretty darn good!
Saved the wheels/tires to sell, and the rear end for my brother.
I'm working on a deal for another project - should put some of these spare parts to decent use.
