If I ever get a actuator back, and can get it to push 25-26 lbs. What plugs at what gap should I run?

Autolite 23 or their racing plug AR-23, Delco R43ts, or NGK ur-5..... All of them at 0.035" .  No need to gap any tighter

If you want to run a non projected tip the YR5s are the same as UR5

Someone said to use the Autolite AR135.  Are those for the aluminum heads?

Sounds like something for E 85 or maybe it's the latest magic for a problem that does not exist in this case

They are a non projection tip.  The AR23 have a projection tip.  Have them in the car, seem all right.

That's the reason I said for E85. Straight methanol is prone to preignition particularly if too much timing is used or too hot a plug. Straight meth also can require a tight plug gap.  I was thinking the 135 came with a much tighter gap but I must be confusing it with another one. Sounds like a solution for a problem that does not exist on a driver with alky injection

At times, on race cars, but not on a driver. Think,  when has preignition been a problem on any Street buick that you know of? . Not detonation but preignition? far as that goes,  when have you heard about preignition being a problem on any buick race car running gasoline?

The only down side I see is that they may foul quicker in street driving. What is the gap?

Funny you say that because I think they are on their way out.  I ordered some AR23 last night.  Hopefully that makes a difference.
